This "Santa with Bagpipes" originated in Scotland and Ireland. He wears the colors of his clan's "tartan" (kilts) and a black beret. He brings toys for children and food for the family's Christmas meal. Tiny Leprechauns (usually invisible) assist him in delivering the gifts.
